Meet the Cast & Crew

Cast

Micah Rodriguez, she/they

Co-director / “Micah Veléz-Jones”

Micah is a writer, TTRPG game master, and Co-Director of How it Ends. Most days, Micah can be found in their studio, hanging out with cats and planning how to TPK her players during an upcoming D&D session. Once, someone told Micah they were the personification of an arrow. Micah’s Sagittarius moon loved that, their Virgo sun said, so you’re saying I’m direct?

Stephanie Resendes, she/her

Co-director / “Elia Cabral”

Stephanie is a writer, amateur chef, and Co-Director of How it Ends. Stephanie’s favorite places to be are on the couch with her dogs or traveling to new places with her husband to see what kind of potato chip flavors they have. She’s not ignoring you, she’s just an Aquarius.

Alozie Nwosu, he/him

“Devon Williams”

Alozie is an inveterate podcast and audiobook fiend. A software developer by day, and a writer all other waking hours. A decade-plus Rhode Islander, he remains a Detroiter at heart. He's a proud cat dad and expert streaming watchlist builder.

Victoria Thomson, she/her

“Aimee Perry”

Tori is a nonprofit leader and a lifelong (so far) student. She is a proud corny millennial who loves coffee, being outside, and complaining about the internet. She lives in Providence with her partner and their cat and can be found most days talking one or both of their ears off about politics, mental health, or her most recent David Lynch-inspired dream.

Brian Medeiros, he/him

“Luke James”

Brian is a local Rhode Islander. Most would describe him as aloof, curious, hungry, and Portuguese-American. In his free time he can be found working on his home, following the sport of soccer, and eating entirely too much cake.

J.T. Shea, he/him

“Unknown Man/Brendan Perry”

J.T. is a nerd that loves math, space, and building and/or breaking things in his woodworking shop. He’s an aspiring furniture maker, dedicated but struggling gardener, and occasional diy-er. He loves walking outside, cuddling any of his (not really his, Micah’s) three cats, rewatching same four anime series, and annoying his partner with facts and questions in the earliest and latest hours of every, single, day.

Matthew Belair, he/him

“Mark Schrade”

Matthew is a musician, amateur horticulturist, emerging voice actor, and someone who would like to take more naps. Having used his voice for his entire life to connect with people, Matthew began doing so professionally in 2012. He began using it to connect with birds in the second grade.

Alex Lupica, he/him

“John Buckley”

Alex would like you to believe he is a writer and musician from Providence, RI long enough for it to become true. He can be found collecting outdated media, traveling to all 50 state capitals, and probably being angry on the internet.

Tyler Murphy, he/him

“Ben Keller/Warren Jones”

Tyler is a writer, a teacher, a Fulbright alumni, and, consistently, a work in progress. He lives in Providence, RI. Previously, he lived in a basement near Boston surrounded by stacks of books.

Sarah Champagne, they/them

“Billie Campbell”

Sarah is a librarian, writer, and filmmaker originally from Portland, Oregon. When not dreaming up their next Super 8 mm film and capturing friends in front of the camera, they love spending time with their rescue pup and exploring New England on their trusty bike, Cornelius.

Shey Rivera, they/them

“Ava Veléz-Jones”

Shey is an interdisciplinary artist and writer who loves making animated gifs and altars. They were born and raised in rural Puerto Rico and live in Providence.

Brittanny Taylor, she/her

“Vallon Grant”

Brittanny Taylor is a Providence, Rhode Island native. She currently has too many jobs as a lifestyle photographer, embodiment coach, yoga instructor, tarot card reader, and podcaster. She is sure she is forgetting other things that make her money. She has an answer for everything and is a know it all, but she’s always right so ¯\_(ツ)_/.¯

Erika Berggren, she/her

Catarina “Rina” Castillo

Erika recently moved to Rhode Island from Boston to be closer to friends and try to reconnect a bit with her Guatemalan side. Trained in the culinary arts, she has taken her skills into the confectionary world and enjoys experimenting with all sorts of delicious sweets. When not making candy, she can be found curled up on her couch with her cat Rogue watching comedies and creating more D&D characters than she will ever be able to play.

Brian Kenny, he/they

“Keith”

Brian is a gnome druid/bard multiclass which in their opinion says a lot about who he is in the “real world.” They advocate and support youth as a graphic design teacher and Gender/Sexuality Alliance advisor. His interests include D&D (obvi), doing witchy ritual activities, and helping with foley. He loves Star Wars, Drag Race, and driving his friends insane because he can’t sit still in a chair. He’s an Aquarius; I guess he could have led with that.

Phil Johnston, he/him

“The Announcer”

Phil Johnston is a writer, born and raised in Providence, RI. His favorite food is any type of french fries. His favorite color is black, but sage green is having a moment. If you're reading this, good luck and godspeed. Peace.

Lesley Kinzel, she/her

Audience Development Manager

Emily Boucher, she/her
