It’s time to start your marathon of How it Ends
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

How It Ends was an absolute blast to marathon. I really can’t get enough of this show, the mystery and these characters. Loved the scene with Micah exploring her father’s things for the first time. The drop-in clips (like the song) were brilliantly executed and implemented.

Also really loved the interview with the non-fiction writer in season one. Very cool episode design idea. The dialogue delivery is absolutely some of the BEST and most natural sounding voice acting I’ve heard in all of Audio Fiction. No hyperbole, this is some seriously great stuff.”

The Style of S-Town, but horror fiction
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“This show has absolutely blown my mind. With its interview/candid style and seamless writing and production, it's easily one of my new favorites. I love the way the story unfolds as we listen and not only develops, but sprouts off new story lines as it progresses. I recommend it to anyone that enjoys having their emotions toyed with, their spine tingled, and their notebooks filled with theories.”

Gripping and addictive
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“I drive 2 hours a day commuting to and from my job so I listen to a fair array of podcasts. How It Ends podcast had me from the very start and I couldn’t get enough. I binged all the episodes in one day! Seriously, it’s a smart, gripping, unfolding story that I binged from the start. Can’t wait to see How It Ends.

Really well done!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“This show starts up kind of slow, but intriguing so you keep on listening. And then it develops into something thriller-ish, supernatural, mysterious and scary. The great VA performances gives this show a real genuine feeling; it’s almost like being friends with the characters and following along.”

A slow burning unsettling podcast with heart
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“This rates as one of my favourite ever listens. I'm hesitant to use the word 'like' when describing my feelings towards this show. It saddened, unnerved, it made me uncomfortable (that coffee shop scene!), it thrilled us, it made me laugh. This was a truly wonderful experience.

For me, this stood out because of the engaging and believable performances. Micah is about as far from a 'Mary Sue' as you can get. She's been traumatized, she's a little damaged and occasionally flawed but I never stopped rooting for her even when questioning her decisions and reliability as a narrator—which I mean in the best possible way!

Unlike some other podcasts of the genre, 'How it Ends' brings a sense of humanity to their story and some of the best moments in Series 1 are when Micah, Elia, and Devon simply hanging out—which always seems to prelude something unsettling—the performances are so natural that it's impossible not to feel like you're in on the joke when the gang are sharing a rare moment of normality and simply being friends.
